Are we doing how many situps then how many squats then how many pushups we can do in a row before we are too exhausted? I was thinking like doing 10 pushups, 20 squats, and 20 situps in a row and seeing how many reps I do. This is because I am awful at pushups and really slow but ok at the others. My squats aren't very low yet but they're better than a few months ago when I started.

So ... 6 rounds for time of 23 squats 18 push ups 14 sit ups Did it in 14:38 The push ups killed me. I was single repping them by the third round and had to do about 5 negatives at the end.

Ellen - did you do your assessments first? At the very beginning of this thread - page one, all the way at the top of my first post - there are three PDF file attachments. They give you the Level parameters for the Week 1 assessment challenge. For that assessment, you do the maximum amount of push ups you can do in 60 seconds, max sit ups in 60 sec and max squats in 60 sec. You need those numbers first before you can do this week's workout. Maybe re-read that first post and let me know if you have any more questions.

Way to go Kris!! I know - pushups are my downfall every time too. :/ After about 50 of them I go almost entirely to ones and twos. Ugh!! Need to start benching heavy!

Level 4 butterfly style sit ups Level 4 squats Level 3 push ups
So do I do 7 reps while doing the amount in that range? I get really confused with directions on things.

Hey Ellen! Sorry for the delay! We've been out all day today. We had Boot Camp class this morning which was a doozy! Then my niece's birthday party was this evening so we were spending some time with the fam. Anyway, for your workout, according to the Levels you quoted above, you would do 6 rounds (Because Level 4 + Level 4 + Level 3 = 11 divided by 2 = 5.5 and round up to 6.) Then, you don't say specifically how many reps of each movement you did, but to make it easy, say for example you did: 40 sit ups 40 squats 16 push ups Your workout would look like this: 6 rounds of: 20 sit ups 20 squats 8 push ups Since I'm just arbitrarily choosing numbers for your reps - you would just take your personal ACTUAL reps you did and divide each one in half to get your reps for the workout assignment. And make sure to record your time! Make sense? Feel free to ask again if it doesnt!

It took my 12 minutes
I drove home earlier then ran a few miles. I was too exhausted the last few days to do much but got energy from running. I needed rest but knew I could fall into too many rest days if I went too long.

Haha - don't worry about the scale. Just keep eating well and getting into the "gym" (your dancing, crossfit, etc). I thought I had lost 4 lbs and the next day was back up by 2. Just keep working on it!

I am doing my first 5k I think with an obstacle course Saturday. I run a few times a week but still feel winded and had sports asthma when I was younger. I see the doctor next week and if I need an inhaler that should help.
