Haha - yeah Kris. That was one of our criteria as well - nothing that costs an arm and a leg.  I like the one I found. It's local. I did the 5k last month for the farm so I did do one for something. Right now I am low on extra money due to moving and I really do not know my schedule yet or anything in advance if I get work and go to school.
I have a lot to figure out so I cannot promise with any races but thank you for the link.
