Hi I'm Ellen. I feel it would make me really discouraged to take my measurements at this moment. I had some health and pain struggles and started slowly getting back in shape. I think I hurt my back last week so I am slowly working on healing that while not being too inactive to take away from my progress, so if I do less weight lifting for a few weeks or running, then that is why.
I am almost 5'9" (5'8 and 3/4 but was 5'8 before yoga and dance helped my posture within a year so maybe I can be 5'9 in the end.) I am 30 years old and weigh 180 pounds. My goal is to get into the 160s with my weight by the end of this challenge.
My goal by my birthday August 31 is to be in the 160s and I'd like the low 160s but a ok with the mid 160s. I had that goal last year for my 30th birthday but my health and pain got worse. I do Cross Fit 2x a week and hope to make it 3x a week by May if my back is also better by then. I also do vinyasa and hot yoga, take belly dance classes, walk a lot, and run a few ties a week. I also plan to swim every other weekend back home and do a mile of swimming total each weekend.
I was diagnosed prediabetic in winter and thankfully Metformin helped balance out my body after years of serious pain and health problems getting worse. Diabetes runs in my family so I definitely want to fight getting that and struggle with eating too much sugar.

Hey, hi, and hello to everyone! First off I must exclaim what a badass Cassandra is, but you all know that already My name is Nicole ::waves hand:: I'm a mom, and an athletic person by nature. I love working out, but like most people I fell into a rut and need motivation. I have some anxiety issues, and an admitted stress eater. My job puts me on the road almost 30 hours a week, and that's just driving time- it's too easy to just snack and eat on the road, and lately my body isn't happy. I can proudly say I quit smoking almost 8 months ago, (I picked up the habit and did it very secretly for a year, but a year far too long) but in that short amount of time I went from 110lbs to 138. I wasn't healthy by any means back then, but now I'm just uncomfortable. All I want is to whip my ass back into shape, lose some fat, gain muscle and just feel.good. I can cook just about anything, and out of all the lifestyles I've tried to see what feels good, Paleo seems to agree with me the best (I have multiple allergies and for years tried subtracting things from my diet to figure out what was bothering me), so I will try my best to stay on that path. I really look forward to doing this with ya'll, and am excited to feel sore in the morning 5 days a week. Cheers! Nicole Current weight: 138 Age: 30

Hi all, my name is Tammy. I've been on a weight loss journey for 11 months now. I've lost 75 pounds so far. With still 100 to loose I'm accepting this challenge head on. My measurements are...
Navel: 44 1/4 Hips: 48 1/4 Right thigh 27 3/4 Left thigh: 27 3/4 Right arm: 14 Left arm: 14 Rib cage: 38 Chest: 46 Calves: 18
I've been married for almost 20 yrs. My husband and I have have one son that's 8, named Garrett. I started my Journey last may because I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I was introduced to CrossFit through some good friends on mine that live in the Lansing area. CrossFit and running are my favorite ways to workout. My goal this summer is to do my first 5k. I won't be doing this to be the fastest, but to simply over come that voice in my head that saids I can't. I usually work Saturdays, but I hope to do a "boot camp" work out with Dave and Cassandra soon.

Update: Here are my "before" pics. After eating like crap for the last week as a sort of personal experiment, I can't wait to get back on track and feeling like "me" again. If anyone wants to share before pictures, fully clothed or not, totally up to you. We're not asking that you do so at all. But even if you don't share with us here, I hiiiiiiiiiiighly recommend you take a couple for yourself. And take them every three weeks or so. That's one thing I wish I had done a few years ago. I have my sorta "before" pic - which was already a few months into my weight loss journey (you can see it up there in the banner or on my Instagram account) - but I really wish I had my honest-to-goodness Day 1 pic. So just a thought.

Hello. My name is stacy. I'm 31, 5'2 175 lbs.
My goal is to lose weight. Build muscle. Kick but at the tough mudder.
At the beginning I started out at about 250. I've been stuck here for awhile now and want to break that wall down.

(You may have already seen this on FB, but I wanted to repost it here in the forum)
Name : David Kolton Age : 44 Wgt : 225 Feeling : Not Happy
Notes: Feeling awful. Looking awful. Over the last 5 weeks I chose to change how I ate and how I exercise. I only trained twice a week and I ate like crap. I wanted to see if a training regimen could trump an awful diet. Guess what? Just like scientific research states -- It can’t!
I ate exactly how many of my clients ate just before they started training with me. Things like pizza several times a week, ice cream, beer, wine, oh and the SUUUUUUGAR!!! It just so happens that I have a sweet tooth! I can eat ColdStone “Hot for Cookie” desserts every night. No really. Every night.
How do I look? Well, I’ve gained 30# and do NOT like the way I look. Belly is huge and all definition is gone. And the alcohol makes the man boobs bigger than ever! Lately I’ve been thinking I need a bra! Does it look like I exercise or do Crossfit? Nope. It doesn’t.
How do feel? Awful. I feel that I look fat and unattractive. I hate looking at myself in the mirror. I don’t let Cassandra see me without a shirt. Libido has never been this low. Self-esteem is being challenged. I have almost no energy. I have mood swings and I’m irritable. I’ve gotten in more (stupid) fights with Cassandra this month that in all the months we’ve been together combined!
And I’m glad I did this! Sometimes we as trainers forget how our CLIENTS feel, and what they go through, in their journey to a healthy lifestyle. This may be what YOU are going through as well! We will get through this – all of US! I personally cannot wait to get back to the healthy lifestyle I was living.
I want to feel Amazing again.
